This product is modelled after Toshizo Hijikata's beloved sword, "Izuminokami Kanesada."
- Sheath Design: The red stone-textured sheath exudes a purely traditional Japanese aesthetic and dignity, evoking the image of Toshizo Hijikata from his time.
- Craftsmanship: Skilled artisans from Seki City, Gifu Prefecture—the renowned town of blades—have meticulously sharpened each blade, ensuring smooth cutting, even for envelopes.
- Convenience and Safety: Displayed on a stand, the letter opener is always ready for use without the hassle of searching for it. Since the blade is stored securely in the sheath, it remains covered and safe for storage when not in use.
Handcrafted in Seki City, Japan, a region with an 800-year tradition of blade-making dating back to the Kamakura period, these scissors honour a legacy of precision and artistry. The Seki swords became renowned nationwide for their artistry and practicality, celebrated for being "unbreakable, unbending, and exceptionally sharp."
